Sorry this ones been a bit delayed! Internet is impossible to get here! Anyways :)
Vienna: The past week of this trip has gone unbelievably quick! Crazy to think we only have a few days left! Vienna was very pretty. A very liveable city I think. After wandering around the city we found some really gorgeous town parks and chilled out in some shade for a while. A couple of people from the group went to an orchestra concert which was apparently really good, however the rest of us decided the amusement park sounded a bit more exciting haha. It was a really old school, traditional carnival like park. Was such a good night. A few of us dare devils went on the rides while the others enjoyed the carnival food. We all went on the ferris wheel which is one of the largest in Europe and had amazing views of the city. We then finished off the day with traditional schnitty and headed to bed.
Prague: The next morning we hopped back on the bus and ventured off to Prague. On the way we stopped off at the famous Mauthausen concentration camp. It was a very surreal experience, so hard to even imagine what happened there. It was very interesting but daunting to see and read about it all. We got to Prague and were welcomed with 38 degree temperatures and no aircon hostel rooms... Fun times haha. We did a quick walking tour before heading back and getting ready to head out. The night life in Prague is great! A couple of shots of the traditional absinthe got the night right on track. We went to a 5 story night club. The biggest night club in Europe. The club had an ice bar floor, a 70s,80s and 90s floor, a r&b floor and a hiphop floor. I of course spent most of my time on the 70s, 80s and 90s dfloor :p. I think I can say it was a good night when I got into bed at 7am haha. The next day was pretty cruisy had some lunch in town and relaxed in the pool before breaking out some karaoke that night.
Berlin: Today we continued to our second last stop of the tour: Berlin. On the way we had a quick stop off at Dresden. We had a look at the soviet memorial and tried out some currywurst. The heat levels ranged between 1 and 7. I enjoyed my level 1 plate whilst a couple of others cried and sweated through their level 7 meal haha. We had a quick driving tour of Berlin before hitting the hay early prepping for a big day of site seeing the next day.
Berlin is such a hipster city. We made the most of our time here and tried to squeeze in as much as possible. We saw the Berlin Wall (what's left of it), Checkpoint Charlie, a couple of holocaust memorials, the Berlin dungeon and a beer hall. In the evening we all went on Berlin nightlife tour (pub crawl). We all bought white tops and markers so we could write messages on each others shirts. Again another fun night spent with amazing people.
Lots of love! xoxo
