So I know I keep saying every place is my favourite hahah but Dubrovnik has just blown all the other places away. Absolutely amazing! Today would be one of the best days I have ever had. Started the day with a buffet breaky before heading into old town Dubrovnik. The old town is filled with markets and eateries, we wandered around there for the morning. In the afternoon we got picked up by a charter bus and headed to the beach to go sea kayaking. The weather was perfect but it was still pretty rocky on the water, we definitely got a workout (much needed haha). We went through caves, past a nude beach, around a massive island, 2 and half hours later we stopped of at a small beach, had some food and went rock jumping and snorkelling. We were packing up to head back to the hotel when two guys from our group drove past on the jet skis they hired, so we hopped on with them for a couple of hours. The amazing day didn't stop there. We found a nice restaurant and had the a delicious meal followed by the best crepes I have ever eaten. I went back to the hotel and literally died. Biggest but best day. I wish we had more days here in Croatia but I will definitely be coming back. A couple of the other group members went and did a game of thrones tour as the show is set here in Dubrovnik. I didn't have time (sorry mum :P).
Today we left the beautiful city of Dubrovnik and headed to Mostar, Bosnia. We saw the bridge that Hamish and Andy jumped off on their euro gap year. One of the guys did the jump. He had to do some training, practise jumps and eventually went through with the 20 metre jump. He said it was the craziest thing he has ever done but has a sore back from not landing quite right. I ate the traditional Serbian meal of Cevachi for lunch. We then did a city tour of Sarajevo. We saw the historical bridge which had a lot to do with the start of WW1 and we learnt a lot about the war that occurred here in 1991-1995. Bullet holes in the building walls could still be seen.
Hope you're still enjoying these blogs :) only 10 more days of the tour and 17 more days till I come home! It's going so quick, don't want it to end.
Love and miss you all xoxo
