We have now been in Byron bay for a little over a week. We have been looking for work but unfortunately there's not much about here so we plan to head back down to Coffs Harbour tomorrow. Byron bay is lovely but unless you surf and drink all the time there's really not that much going on so I'm kind of glad we're heading back to Coffs, we both really liked it there and there's plenty of jobs. We made a trip to Ipswich on the weekend to watch my brother race, it was good to see him even though we have only been gone a couple of weeks. Yesterday we made a trip to Nimbin which was an eye opener to say the least. I knew it was dodgy the minute we got there, we walked past a woman who was talking to a group of men saying that she had done to much coke the night before and then we almost had a run in with some dodgy bloke carrying a sus looking bag, he definitely didn't want us near the bag. Fair to say we won't be rushing back there any time soon. Glenn's only been surfing once since we have been here which I'm not complaint about seeing as there was a shark attack at a beach near us only a few days ago. Apart from that it's been all relaxing on the beach in the sun :)
