The tour guide was adam the guy i had on my first tour in australia melbourne to sydney it was wierd seeing him after months on the road but i knew the tour would be good as his knowledge was really good. well we left uluru and headad for coober pedy the only underground town in australia. The reason they live underground is because it gets so hot in the outback that it's cooler to live underground. It took about 7 hours on the small bus to get to coober pedy we did stop on the way but i can't really remember where as i slept most fo the way. The next part of the trip was to kings canyon and ayres rock. Leaving alice springs we travelled to kings canyon after 5 hours on the road we finally got there, we had stopped for lunch on the way and was ready to start the walk up the canyon. The walk was really hard and it was really hot, it took about 2-3 hours to complete the walk and the views from the top were great. There was a light wind at the top of the canyon which was nice and made it a little easier....

We left darwin at 6am to travel to katherine the first stop of the 3 days trip to alce springs. Katherine was about 4 hours from darwin. In katherine we visited the gorge which was really nice. Here we had the opportuniy to either go for a walk or kayaking on the gorge. Well for the past week i've been in the outback and oh my god it's so different from the east coast and 'm not really sure it i really enjoyed it but glad i experienced it.
