Hello,

Vang vieng was pretty cool, it was full of night life, but as i said we saved ourselves for the tubing...well OMG.... We got in the rubber rings made our way down the river and the madness just went from there. every bar gave us free shots- i had some meanies i can tell you! A shot from a bottle with a snake in....whiskey and i don't do whiskey eurgh! in all the bars you collect tokens for free alcohol buckets we had them wrapped around our head, our waist our arms hahah- the stamps were drawn on our bodies, we looked like a bunch of english louts. We were going down the slides from the bars into the river, some people were jumping off 30ft swings into the river it was mental. no wonder there are X amount of deaths a year there!!

After the bars it was dreadful! We were floating down a river for easily an hour ... plus!! Then a herd or water buffalos decided to take a swim right by us- i was crapping myself. We were all struggling to paddle down this bloody river, but I saw these local boys also going down- I asked them nicely if they could pull me most of the way and they did thank god! i was close to having a tantrum!

Well that last stretch of the river pretty much killed our party mood so we just had something to eat and bed ha.

The following day we travelled down to Luang Prabang. which is where is am now... its a cute old town. Today we went on an elephant ride! Fantastic! and one big tick off my to do list! It was just brilliant, it really was. We'v also just explored the town, seens ome more temples and went to the night market which was lovely.
