Whilst jaun put his foot up (literally) in hot sweaty, dusty Chaing Mai, i escaped for a short trip 2 Pai, which was cool, misty and marvelous. I went trekking up 2 Mao Yen waterfall which was great, before chilling out in peaceful Pai with sum hippy types. 3 things we've both decided are, 1) we wish jauns foot wasn't broken, 2) we prefere the countryside of asia 2 the cities 3) we both want 2 escape the city of Chaing Mai! Apart from the heat, the smell, the dust and the dirt, there isn't actually that much 2 do here, except watch various fights between stray dogs! With the arrival of our passports imminent, with the visas for lao, cambodia and vietnam we sud be on the road again soon. best wishes.
