Tamara's Travels
Well I had a fantastic time travelling Ireland on the 6 day Shamrocker Tour with Melanie, and 33 others from around the world. The tour group consisted mainly of Aussies (most of them from Melbourne!!), some from NZ, South Africa, America, a couple from Poland and a couple from Taiwan. A great mix and we all got along brilliantly - both the tour guide and bus driver said it was the best tour group in a long time, they haven't laughed so much in years!!
So many places, so many laughs, so much fun, so many sights and stunning scenary - what else can I say!! I tried new things - whiskey, Guinness and Baileys Coffee. Played fun games on the bus - like passing a lifesaver-type lollie down the bus using a match-stick held in our mouths!! Saw traditional set dancing, musicians in pubs, and Irish bands. Now the horse-cart ride in the Killarney National Park was fantastic (naturally being the horse lover I am).
But I think best of all I enjoyed the laughs with new friends :)
