We visited the beach in the morning. The water was too cold to swim in but it was pleasant in the sun. We played beach Olympics for donuts and Anna made a sand castle of my face (lol). At home we watched The Lorax with the boys and played with the rugby ball on the trampoline while Anna and Natasha were at a birthday party!

The night in the hostal was interesting as one of the guys was a very loud snorer and got up at 5am! :( We left at 8am and stopped to look at the London Bridge and the bay of martyrs which was pretty stunning (almost more so than the 12 apostles!) We spent 10 hours driving approx 700km. The first section Garth drove and was sparse and dry. The second section I drove and was surrounded by bush. We left Gareth and Sara's at 10am - very thankful for their kind hospitality. we drove 30 mins round Melbourne to visit Pinoat Ct - also known as Ramsey Street from Neighbours! Being in the area was very exciting as it felt as though I was really in the show Neighbours! Unfortunately they were busy shooting so had cordoned off the road. We had a lazy start at 10 and Sara took us into town on the tram. We met Gareth on his lunch break for a fantastic coffee at this hidden cafe down an alleyway (v. London). We walked through china town, around the museum and parliament buildings. Got a very tasty sandwich and got another tram over to the war memorial. Sara left us here and we enjoyed looking around. We woke at 5.30 had some breakfast and said goodbye to uncle Ivor and Auntie Jan ( :( ) and departed for out 8 hour drive to Melbourne. The speed limit was 110kmph which felt much more natural than 100 in NZ. We took turns driving and breaking regularly with a McDs ( :( ) for lunch.
