199 get-ups to go....




…The trip is coming together nicely. The cruise is booked and paid for. 30 days sailing the South Pacific aboard the magnificent Sapphire Princess. The latest update on the bits either side of the cruise is that Roisin has spent days trawling for decent hotels in San Francisco. She manged to get a brilliant deal in the comically named Nob Hill. Chris is already wondering how much mileage this name has and has already started to think up inuendos and other gags (purely for comic effect!!) in the months to come. Anyhoo, the room should have cost £380 per night. Roisin's price - £95 per night!!

Chris is contemplating having one of those 'Gentleman's manicure' thingies. Last year it was his £10 patent leather shoes from Primark to finish off that gala dinner look during the Baltic cruise!! That was his feet...this year it's the turn of his hands .If the shoes were the icing on the cake, the manicure will be the hundreds and thousands on the icing on the cake!!!

Roisin has also spent much time on the phone to a specialist travel organiser and has finalised the flights. Virgin Atlantic.They're even flying home premium economy!

Their hotel in Hong Kong has now been confirmed as the Novotel something, something...the one by the airport, so I'm told!! This is on Lantau Island and is handy for the Big Buddha and Disneyland!!

The SF Opera House is staging 'The Marrige of Figaro' and it's '12th Night' at the 'Sydney Opera House'. Both booked and paid! They'll be there!

They've had a real find in Sydney. Their accommodation is a holiday home in a suburban area north of Sydney. It's described as a real oasis in the heart of Sydney. This is just what the (flying) doctor will have ordered by the time they finish their 30 day cruise. Away from the hustle and bustle of the centre and all those trourists!!!

It's not only Roisin who has been busy. Chris has booked tickets for the baseball in SF and is currently checking if there's any footie on whilst in Hong Kong!!!
 
It's nice the know Chris has gotten his priorities right!!!
