Sounds like you're having a great road trip! And sound like the wildlife and geography are fantastic. It's great you were "lucky enough to see the shy yellow eyed penguins...". And you must have gotten pretty close to register that detail. I couldn't help thinking that sentence should have finished "...as he bounced off the windscreen of our Toyota!". You see?
