Started the day with a nice sleep in till 8am!

We set off on a short journey down to kings canyon! After a short walk we arrived in the heart the bottom of the canyon... Was quite a view! We took a few snaps and set off back to the car... Next stop Alice Springs!

After much debate of wether to drive the safe long route via the highway or drive the significantly shorter unsealed road.. We decided to smash the car to bits even more by driving 100km over a 4x4 road, quite expertly I must say, by Danielle ford!

After 1hr 40min of intense concentration while navigating the beaten track, we arrived at the wonderful sight of highway Tarmac.. Danielle (a stone lighter from sweating) looked as tho she didn't know wether to laugh of cry... Top driving lass!

After an A la carte dining experience of sausage and spaghetti on toast we soldiered on to Alice.

The sight of shops and civilisation as well as a KFC lifted our spirits. A couple of beers back at the campsite and Colin McRae aka D.Ford was knocking the zzzz's out!

We had made it to the centre of Oz!! Quite an achievement... Only a few more days drivin to go.. Here we come Darwin!!
