Quick blog update for the last part of NZ before we head off to Oz tomorrow… After another great breakfast on Sunday (thanks Caroline!), we all headed to Akaroa for the afternoon… Well except for Lauren, who was planning a party at the house in our absence (cleverly disguised as a "meeting" with her friends!) Akaroa is a lovely little town based around a harbour and has a French theme to it (i.e. most of the places are called "Le…" f...

We left Queenstown on Monday afternoon and made our way to Te Anau, our camp for the night. From here, we headed up to Milford Sound the following day (a long and twisty 2 hour drive but very beautiful) stopping at Reflection Lakes and a few other locations for a some scenic photography and to feed the sandflies on the way! We also had to tackle the Homer tunnel, which is a long single lane tunnel under a mountain range where we had to wait 15 minutes for traffic...

So we hear you're getting a few specks of snow in the UK?!! Weather's gorgeous here but it could turn at any time so keep your fingers crossed for us. On the negative side (I'm expecting some sympathy here....) I'm suffering with hayfever in January!!! Also, Alex says "Will - man up.
