On Thursday, we went to Mrs Macquaries Point (along with 19,998 other people) to watch the fireworks. We had to queue for a few hours to get in, but it was completely free and well worth it for the view of the fireworks over the Harbour Bridge. Hooray we've made it to Oz! Spent day 1 walking around Sydney to orientate ourselves. We arrived into the city via ferry from our hotel location in Parramatta so we've already been under the Sydney Harbour Bridge and walked around the Opera House. Just checked out potential location for watching the celebrations tomorrow night. Have a great new year everyone!
