The big question coming into Brooklyn was where we were going to park a 30 foot RV. The answer turned out to be right on our block! There was a large space free a few doors up from our house. As this suggests, Park Slope is a lot less busy than it once was. But they repaved while we were gone, and the trees are in full bloom, so it was a picture-esque homecoming.

We had yet another after-dark arrival, which was too bad because Shenendoah is beautiful. Some quick morning wanderings through the forest and meadows, then off again. Destination, Brooklyn!

After picking up our rental RV in the middle of nowhere, Georgia, we made it to our "waterfront" campsite in Tugaloo State Park well after dark. One of our campsite neighbors had a huge bearded dragon. We had a lovely morning swim and hit the road again.

This road trip did not exactly get off to an auspicious start: our garage door broke in the wee hours of the morning while we were packing up. The big spring that lifts the door snapped, and it was stuck in the down position. Luckily, the mini-van was already in the drive-way outside, so we were still able to leave. We are sure going to miss our pool, though!
