03.01.11 Travelled to Canberra today, back to Mike and Roseanne's house, to see a different part of Australia. All packed up with, Christmas presents galore up to our eye balls surrounding us in the car we left to go and say good bye to Mikes Parents. 29.12.10 We went out on Mike's dad's boat for the day, a few wines and fruit later we were at the mouth of the sea. We bobbed about on the river for a while before headin back. The boat was built in 1973, i think, and it was a fab boat in amazing condition. Christmas Day was a little strange, warm and being with people i dont know alot lol. however i got up with the kids at 7am and did the whole pressent opeing bit round one and then round 2 witht he adults when they were up much later on. The day of dropping off the van has arrived, woop woop. Although its been good, im glad its time to hand it back. Its cosy but there is only so much confined in a small space that can take place. There wasnt alot to see in at the port, and not alot to see all the way to newcastle. Arriving late in the evening at Newcastle and there wasn't any campsites to be seen. there was a car park on the edge of the beach that didnt contain any no camping signs so we parked up for the evening and used the park bbq to have a feast of sausages and steak with rice.
