The autostrada high up over the country side as we made our epic journey from Foggia to Catania.

Hi from sunny Sicily!!! Arrived here last night after an epic 13 hours train journey (our longest) through much of the south of Italy. Though tiring, it was gorgeous. When we got to the 'toe' of Italy they broke the train in two and put us on a ferry for the 40 minute ride to Messina. The sun was just setting over Sicily at the time and it was so beautiful!!! Me waiting at the station on our way to Foggia. My minimal luggage is working a treat. So good for lugging up and down station stairs. Will have to look at another bag in Rome if I end up splurging though, cos I don't think I can fit anything more in these ones!!
