Just returned to your blog after a 3 day gap (Sorry!!) and seem to have missed your 2nd/3rd day in Xian. Glad you are enjoying Shanghai-it really is amazing how easy it is to bump into familiar people but it has happened to me as you know. I'm off to e-mail you now.

Hi Mike we are having a super time, there is definately a big language barrier but it is manageable in broken english and sign language, most of the public transport is in english as well. I think we'll leave are itinary as a surprise and keep you all in suspence lol. Glad you like the blog it's a brilliant way to keep in touch with everyone. Take care love Caroline and Suziex

wow ... we are so jealous... i have always wanted to see the teracotta army and angela would be in heaven with the pandas and other animals.
was wondering how you were coping with the language barrier, seems you are both managing quite well tho. just wondering too, if you are going to post your full itinary or leave it as a surprise where your going to next.
you both seem to be coping real good with all the travel arrangementss like trains buses etc. keep it up, the blogs are really interesting and well written too ! ! keep going.

Hi girls thanks for your latest update and for getting them on a seperate blog. Still looks as though you are enjoying it all which is great. how long are you in Xian and when and where are you off next. Glad everything is ok and you've only got one not three lol. Yeah i can get pictures on my phone i'll look forward to seeing the scan picture!! Hows Henry and John? The train wasn't too bad actually very quiet considering there was 66 people in are cabin and we manage to sleep the 12 hours just went so quickly!!
