We arrived into Darwin this afternoon at around 5pm which was the end of our tour which we have both thoroughly enjoyed it's been amazing!! After checking in we then had a couple of hours to get ready for a night out with the group from the tour for dinner and drinks. We all met at the Cavenagh backpackers where we are staying for food and then stayed there for a few drinks before moving on to a pub called the Vic where we stayed for the rest of the night, a fab night had by all I think.

Today was a late start as we were both feeling a bit delicate from last night even though we did drink copious amounts of water last night to try and conker the hangovers (It didn't work) but I'd dread to think what we would have felt like if we hadn't had the water!! For what was left of the day after we had sorted ourselves out we spent around the pool reading and topping up the tans. We went to watch sunset tonight at the beach but it was too cloudy so it wasn't a great one. We then rang Dad and Mel before going back to get some food good old comfort food leak and potato soup it was great!!

This morning we got up at a reasonable time did our washing before heading out to the Darwin museum and art gallery at Suzie request. It was actually really interesting there was alot of information about the aborignal culture and art displays and a section on cyclone Tracey which hit Darwin on Christmas eve in 1974. Suzie managed to beat her record we did the museum in a hour and half I thought we'd be there for at least 3. After the museum we got the bus into town and rang mum before going to buy a tent for our road trip. We are leaving Darwin tomorrow morning with Daisy and Mark a couple who were on our trip from Perth to Broome they have hired a camper van so we are joining them to get us to Adelaide via Alice springs which should be great fun. Tonight we are meeting a few people from the tour for food and drinks and to say goodbye before we leave tomorrow.
