ok so sorry i haven't written for so long. just been off the beaten track so no real access to internet for a very long time.

So i have spent the last whole week in the North island. Imust say i haven't enjoyed as much as the south. (not sure if it was the people i had on the bus). Sop travelled for bout 3 days on the bus from Queen town to Auckland- which involved being a bit bored and struggling with several hangovers. when i got up to Auckland i went out with my driver (number 2) and a few guys from my bus. As it was friday 13th i went to a hallowen party!!!! just a bit random and had a little too much to drink.

not day (valentines day)- the guys i was on the bus with tried to kidnap me and put me on the bus to bay of islands but i had to go east. so set off (with a big hangover). And ended up at hahei- it wasn't as beautiful as i could have been as it rained most the day. in the eve we headed to hot water beaches. whihc is one of the most amazing things i have seen. This is totally tide dependent, but you go to a beach and dig a hole in the sand- this particular beach is thermal heated and the holes turn into pools and hot water comes up from the natural springs. it is one of the most unique things i have ever seen!!!! We then headed back to the hostel for a bbq!!!!

Next day we headed onto Raglan- which is where you can learn how to surf!!! i opted to just sunbath on the beach and work on the tan. When we arrived in Raglan we got to a car show- i don't really like cars that much but thought they were beautiful. . The accom was in the middle of no where (in a rainforest), and is prob the best place i have stayed in. It had a flying fox and ropes park (felt like a big kid again) and so spent the whole eve playing in the park!!!!

From Raglan we headed to Waitomo caves- where i went absailing aown waterfalls. I must say i found this far most scarey then sky diving and canyon swinging. We asbailed in caves and ended up doing this for 4 hours!!!!! began to think why am i so stupid!!!! when we were in the caves, the caves where lit up with glow worms. it was beautiful and ifelt like i was staring into the stars. in the eve weMaketu- where we had a cutural night- got fed traditional food and then learnt the haka!!!! after this we headed to the beach for a beach party!!!! We slept in a hall where we learnt the Haka with the whole bus. In the mornign we had a wake up call, which was Abba playing over loud speakers. i felt like i was in the Big Bro house. It was so funny everyone waking up to themusic and then dancing to it!!!!!

After the abba wake up we headed to Rotorua where i went Zorbing!!!! think the photos speak for them selves!!!!! and then onto Taupo where George lives!!!
