It certainly sounds like you will be busy over the next few days. I would like a photo of Simon on a horse! I'm sure you will enjoy most of it if not all! All is well back in sunny England. Dad had a couple of days off and we have been topping up our tans one sunny Felixstowe beach - not quite as good as the Great Barrier Reef but the best we can do. Hi everyone,

We are still having a fantastic time and are now in Cairns so our East Coast adventure begins. We left the glorious weather of Darwin for rain in the east but it is still warm and hopefully will brighten up tomorrow.
We have an action packed week ahead so may not be able to email much. We are going white water rafting tomorrow then off to Cape Tribulation for 3 days where we are going horse riding. Simon has agreed to try it out. We then go out to the Great Barrier Reef for a day to do some snorkeling.
After all that we are going to spend a few days relaxing on the beach. Think we will need it.
We will update our journal asap and put the photos on. We have absolutely loads. We tried to put them on but the computer didn't let us. Not sure if there were to many, the computer wasn't compatible or we were just doing it wrong. We will keep trying and hopefully you will see them soon.

I'm all for this technology, its so good to hear you've arrived safely and are having a good time - what an experience, one that will last a lifetime - so enjoy. Glad you had a good birthday Suzanne, we share one in September, mine was the 6th - only difference was I was 70 and what are you - 21 - oh well you'll get there some day!!! You'll never guess where I spent mine - Far East - well Southwold is the Far East isn't it? Pam managed to book us into a really lovely house at very short notice and with lovely weather we had a great time - I used my new camera lots and have some great material to work with now (I belong to 2 camera clubs)
Guess you're days are a little more exciting and we are looking forward to following you around and hearing your news.

sorry for being a bit slack with the updates but we have been really busy and not always had access to the internet. We are still having a great time and are now up in Darwin where it is really hot.
We are going to see crocodiles tomorrow then going to the Kakadu National Park for a night of camping in the bush. Hope there aren't to many creepy crawlies around.
Its great to keep getting your messages, keep them coming so we know what all the news is from home.
Thanks for all my birthday messages, i had a really good day and went out for a drink with our tour group.

Hey you guys...just realised what i've been doing wrong, think i've been e-mailing instead of posting a message...what a numbnut!!! You can tell i'm back at the Academy...only been 2 days but them kids do rub off on me!!I'd better watch out otherwise I'll have an ASBO next!! I hope you're having a fantastic time in oz (am very jealous!!) & you're being careful...looking forward to your next insert in your journal...wish I was on holiday again...oh well only 6 and a half weeks to go...rock on!!

Hope the birthday went well. You will be in the land of nod by now. Just found your page on Port Fairy. Sounds good. Sorry Simon your crocodile pal died today. Please be careful with all these grisly creatures. Suzanne will have to take care of you when you are near crocodiles as I know you have no fear!!
First day at school went ok - only 2 children played up both boys but not not too bad considering! Well have a great week and now I know where to get your latest info. I can print off and give copy to Dad. Hope to do some more garden clearance at Simon's on Friday. Love Mum and Dad
