Its so good to follow you on your travels and we are all so pleased you're having a good time - just read your interesting update - you write it so we can almost imagine we're sharing some of the experiences with you - some I'll pass on, the BBQ for a start!
Heard from Paul last evening - he has got a job in a pharmaceutical company in Harrogate, so that's good. London University College are paying him to stay on to pass on his research project to other PhD students, this will give him time to start to write up his Thesis so it's worked out well hopefully, he'll then move up to Harrogate at the beginning of the year.
You don't want to hear about work though do you, not when you're on holiday. Are you taking lots of photographs - haven't seen any on your site yet, but I haven't checked today.
Anyway you seem to be taking every opportunity to take in the sights and we wish you many more happy days out there and look forward to hearing more.

Lizzie's back from her travels and i've met up with her a couple of times - she had an amazing time too. No goss to report here I don't think, sorry Suz! I'll let you know if/when there is! My brother and Leanne have asked me to be Godmother to Lydia so i'm really chuffed. Christening is on 8th October so looking forward to that. I saw Alfie last night, he's as lovely as ever and yeh, he has probably changed alot since you last saw him. bless him, can't believe he's six months now! I'll try and get Laura to leave you a message a bit more about him or email you but Larry's comp isn't too good sometimes and Mon n Pete are away at the mo so she can't borrow there comp either. Kerry Is also doing well I hear, due dates coming up really quickly isn't it!! No one else is pregnant to report, as far as I know! hehe.

Hi Suzanne and Simon.I bought a world map today so that I can see exactly where you are and plot your journey. Time is getting close now to Julie and Rogers departure. I also bought a map of New Zealand to try and locate the region they are moving to.I now have to find wall space to put them up.Not easy in our house. Laura popped round the other day with your Christening invitation it is the first sunday in December. Hope your busy week has gone well. I heard from David and he is home for 2days in October and then off to Lanzarote till Jan. He hopes to snowboards sometime after then. I have just caught up on your journal entries. All that wine you tasted could you stand up at the end!! And the croc. place sounded horrible. Never mind.
Have a good week. All is well here and grandad is having an early birthday party tomorrow to celebrate not quite reaching his 96th birthday that is because Uncle John is home and will not be here for the actual day. Take care in your travels. Love Mum and Dad

My bruises from caving are only now recovering- just as well was getting some strange looks when swimming- they got much worse after that picture i sent you believe it or not! Mum had strong words with Andy for taking her 'delicate flower' 400ft down in to a mountain!!

In the spirit of your up n coming extreme sport adventures a joke for you . .
Two morons stand on a cliff with their arms outstretched. One has some budgies lined up on each arm, the other has parrots lined up on his arms.

After a couple of minutes, they both leap off the cliff and fall to the ground.

Laying next to each other in intensive care at the hospital, one moron says to the other, "I don't think much of this budgie jumping."

The other moron replies, "Yeah, I'm not too keen on this paragliding either."
