Ok so after a long bus ride with some guy sneaking into the bathroom to smoke and stinking up the bus and a really long, long, long walk around the city of Newcastle.... we are at our hostel. The address we had for the hostel was wrong and people didnt know where it was. I now know the city of Newcastle like a local and should have a really nice back side for bathing suit season due to walking around with at least 37 pounds on my back. Our hostel is so nice. (Euro Hostel.. even though we are in England and have to pay with pounds). Its brand new. Its like a real hotel. We walked into our room and they have a bunk bed with a double bed. They have our towels laid out and five star bedding. (Im hoping tonight we get chocolates on our pillows, but im not holding my breath). We even have our own TV. Last night we went on a literary pub crawl. Then played Yuker with some friends from New Zealand and New York. (Dont worry they didnt grow up in New York, so they weren't Yankee fans).
Soup of the Day in Ireland ............... Vegetable soup. Really its not soup of the day if its always vegetable. Everywhere. Everyday. Never mentioned this when i was in Ireland but i had to bring it up because it was a riot. You didnt even have to ask, because you know from the finest restaurant to the dirtiest hole in the wall, its pureed vegetable soup. Not bad at all but a little monotonous.
Also i just gotta mention this because this is my record of the trip and ill be making a book at the end of the blog, so a few things i write are just for my own memory and my own inside jokes. Matt, yes Matt was sitting at the bar and i guess he agreed with what we were saying cause to quote he said "Tru Dat." Really matt's a rapper now.
Till next time.... Tru Dat
