Ok, so we make it out of the woods alive! We spent our second night in Berlin at St. Christopher Hostel right downtown and it was much better. We went on a walking tour of Berlin and saw the Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Carlie, Brandenburger Thor, Reichstag, and alot fo other cool stuff. It was pretty amazing and much more enjoyable than history class! AFter the tour we went up in the glass dome of the Parliment building to gett an excellent view of the city. Later we went to the hostel bar and met some new friends. There were some locals there and we got to hear some interesting stories of the Berlin Wall coming down.

Yesterday was another fun day spent on the train. It was ridiculously hot. AFter 7 long hours we finally arrived in Amsterdam greeted by much cooler temperatures:) Despite saying the whole trip that we would not be going anywhere near the Hard Rock Cafe.... the American food was too tempting. So, cheeseburgers for dinner.. and they were good! Then we went to a pub for a few drinks and called it an early night.

This morning we went to the Van Gogh museum and wandered around a bit before getting some lunch. Thats all for now.. we can't believe our trip is nearing the end.
