It was my mums birthday today and she chose to leave Elsey National Park and drive to Katherine gorge.

The drive wasn't very long and when we got to Katherine we went shopping to get the food we need for the next part of our trip. When we got to the national park we found a place to set up camp and went to look around. The place was very commercial for a national park it had a swimming pool, a bar and a laundry.

We went to have a look at the gorge. Dad and Jacob stepped on a venomous snake but luckily it didn't bite them! Me and dad also went to the lookout and saw a freshwater crocodile!
We went for a swim in the pool and eat party food!=-]
