lisa ellis Hi Both....well at least you have experienced it all now.....Darren going to Hospital- I bet it was really interesting to compare the differences in care....or maybe it wasn't so different! Glad you are feeling better now Darren, to enjoy your final part of your honeymoon. Does it feel real?? Well, over here we cannot wait to see you both - I think you are going to be inundated with invitations to dinner when you come home.....you will have to go away again for a rest!! Can we book you in now for .....! Only joking. Really missed you and cannot wait for our morning chat in the corridor at Orsborn House...where you will be pleased to know has flushing toilets and drinking water!! Lots of love Lisa and gangxxxxxx

Linda Holtham Happy New Year Tamara and Darren! Hope you have had a fab Christmas and New Year. Your trip sounds amazing and sounds like you are having a wonderful time (except for the rude people in Cambodia)! Have a briiliant time for the rest of your trip! Love Linda
Keith Hi Darren & Tam Well I have to say the wine and chicken satay must be a welcome change from tucking into things that looks like snails :-) Tam’ you really bring the places that you visit to life with the enthusiasm descriptions, they remind me of a program I used to watch, I think it was called “I wish you were here”...... Well all I can say “I wish I was there, enjoying what you both are experiencing” Darren your mother might have mentioned that I’ve not been feeling too good over the festive period; I think I digested something that resembled a dead rat so it hasn’t been a pleasant experience these last few days: you really wanted to know that didn’t you? You may be aware that the UK is experiencing an outbreak of the swine flu; up to the time of writing we have had 50 deaths so far. I haven’t been out for three weeks so I can’t tell you what the weather has been like, I’ve closed all the curtains and painted a cross on the front door to ward off any would be carriers of the virus. Well I’ve just got to light the fires around the house then it’s off to bed. Take care both Love and best wishes Keith Avril & Abi

re: Central Highlands, VietnamKeith Hi Both Tam, Darren, I’m sure the last three months have captured some lovely memories that both of you will treasure over the coming years. But as they say there’s no place like home and I can fully appreciate that travelling from one Country to the next isn’t without some sacrifices, it must be quite tiring and living out of a suit case full of Darren dirty washing can’t be too pleasant either :-) Sorry to hear Darren hasn’t been feeling too good but glad to know he’s on the mend, we send our best wishes for a full recovery ( must have been the wine and Chicken satay) Tam, you comment “When we paid all the young girls were standing behind a window with their faces right up against the screen waving and smiling!” I have to say that kind of thing happened to me all the time when I was young and single :-)))) Take care Best wishes Keith Avril & Abi

re: Dalat, VietnamHeather Hi Tam Remember that evening in October (the night of the traffic jams caused by the man on the bridge) at Snow Hill station when we said Goodbye, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Seems like aeons ago! And now here it is for real so Happy New Year both of you!! Have fun! Love Heather
re: Phu Quoc, Vietnamkeith Hi Tam & Darren “We were a tad hangover as well which didn't help! So we had fried eggs for breakfast, grilled squid, mix seafood fried rice and spring rolls for lunch. Dinner consisted of a big plate of prawns and well, we thought we ordered scallops which they call muscle snails, when they came out they looked like snails!” - And then you were sick, no doubt? Are you sure you’re not taking part in the TV program” I’m a back–Packer get me out of here”? :-) Whatever it sounds like you’re having great fun, and long may it continue for you both. Well Darren we sent your mom & dad back home at around 10pm Christmas night due to the fact that we didn’t have any more food to give them.... they do like their grub don’t they!! - We had an enjoyable day, and they have invited us round for a bite to eat New Years Day. Unfortunately, they have asked us to eat before we arrive as they’ve said they only have a small table and wouldn’t be putting a lot out. LOL Well have a very happy New Year and remember the weeks will start to fly by now, so enjoy every day. Best wishes Keith Avril Abi
re: Phu Quoc, Vietnamlisa ellis Hi Both, Merry Christmas again! Its lovely to hear from you- I was a bit worried when there hadnt been an update for a while. Then Heather reminded me that you cannot always get a good internet access especially in Cambodia. Glad you went snorkelling - it is a bit scary at first but amazing, I always felt like I was flying. Your Christmas sounded a bit different to ours!! Although the kids kindly woke up after 7 Christmas morning which was a bonus- we all feel a bit deflated now but we are off to sunny Cornwall tomorrow for New Year- Hope you guys have a fantastic New Year and continue having the most wonderful experience. loadsa love lisa, mark and gangxxxxxxxxxxxx
