This is undoubtedly the highlight of the trip so far. Where else in the world can you see an actual space shuttle or stand on the launch pad where 12 missions to the moon were launched. I paid extra for a visit to launch pad 39 where all the moon missions were launched. Also got to see the space shuttle Atlantis which has only been on display since June 2013. Wish I could have spent more time here and done more activities although you have to pay for them. Also got to see some of the older mission control rooms which are part of standard tours. Also got to touch a piece of stone from the moon!
