Bula Fiji: Hello from Paradise!

My second stop is as expected paradise. I've only been here two days, but I'm enjoying it very much! The people are really kind; you just shouldn't be in a hurry. It's warm but not too hot if you stay in the shadow, because there is a light breeze. My hotel is not located at the beach, but there are two pools. I arrived really early yesterday and was very tired from the flight and from HK. Just hung out by the pool, got some sleep and made new friends. In the evening we went to a local bar, but there were not many people around. Just some drunk local guys who were friendly but really drunk. Tonight we will try at the harbor at Denaru where I will also have to be tomorrow morning for my tour of the Yasawas. The reastaurant at the hotel is also really nice, they make great smoothies and cocktails.

So, if you ever get the chance come to Fiji! You will already get in the mood on the airplane with the Hawaian style of music they play and a local band will welcome you at the airport. Unfortunately is is more then 20 hours on a plane to get here, but as said it's paradise! I think my stay will actually be too short as I would like to see so much more of Fiji now that I'm here. On the other hand it might be enough of sunshine for me after nearly two weaks. I will let you know about the Yasawas when I return on the main island. I won't have internet when I'm away as it will be basic. The real Fijian experience!
