25/9 Fly from Sydney to Rome, via Hong Kong (Cathay Pacific)

26/9 Arrive Rome, overnight

27/9 Train: to Venice, staying three nights

30/9 Join Queen Victoria cruise from Venice: Ports of Call:

• Dubrovnik (Croatia), Corfu, Cephalonia, Souda Bay, Athens, Sarande (Albania), Heraklion, Rhodes, Mykonos before disembarking in Athens. 14 nights

15/10 Fly from Athens to Rome staying overnight

16/10 Train: to Florence where we stay 2 nights, taking in Opera "Carmen" at St.Mark's Cathedral, Florence

18/10 Train: Florence to Chiusi, this is local line, where we pickup our rental car and drive 10kms to our little village of Panicale. We stay four weeks, taking short five day excursion to north Italy, Lake Como.

23/10 Taking "cooking class" in Bellagio, Lake Como

26/10 Leave Lake Como and drive back to Panicale

15/11 We leave Panicale, drop our rental at Chiusi and take train back to Florence, staying overnight.

16/11 Train: Florence to Milan (4 nights). During this time we take one day tour on Swiss Alps Bernina Express train tour and Skip-the-line tour of Da Vinci's "Last Supper" and Gastronomy Walking tour of Milan on our last day.

20/11 Train: Milan to Lyon, staying 3 nights. Taking in "Gastronomy Walking Tour" of Lyon.

23/11 Train: Lyon to Paris, staying 4 nights

27/11 Fly Paris to Hong Kong staying two nights before flying home

30/11 Arrive in Sydney, drive home
