It is very early on Sunday morning as we arrive into Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam. We find the trains and head straight to Utrecht.

We struggle slightly with our gear. We both have skydiving rigs, helmets, too much technology and are prepared for Norway as well as summer in Spain.

I regret not bringing my DSLR already but I'm kind of enjoying the freedom of just having one option of camera and it fits in my pocket - winning :)

From Central Station in Utrecht we get a taxi to our airbnb apartment, meeting the friend of the owner who lets us in and shows us around. The own is away enjoying Oerol festival in Terschelling, NL.

As soon as we shower we head out for food and to hire some bikes. The best thing you can do in most European cities is to immediately hire a bike - it is so so much easier to get around on a bike. It's cheap, you see more and it's fun!!

We head to a market out of the city centre to see if we can locate supplies for the van. It is a fail. It is full of junk mainly so we head back to our home for a quick nap before dinner. Unfortunately dinner never happened. We both passed out and slept through to the next morning. I think this may have cured any jet lag that we may have encountered - Winning!
