Eric Michaud Often, your mind will run for miles and miles, yet your instinct is already there. Did you come up with that, if you did that's very wise and sooo true. Keep the cool blogs coming bud!
Sonia Hi Mike! missed a lot of your blog, off in my own little world. Loved this latest. I like the way you describe everything, your feelings for the people and culture, and how you show your true self. Never underestimate yourself. You are far from boring and you will have an experience to share with others that I am jealous off.. my own fault for not going anywheres. And the pics.. i've always wanted to see those ancient sites.. it gave me the shivers looking at them. Looking forward to seeing you soon, keep being happy and yourself. Cousin hugs.
Denise Okay, I'm a week to late, but I was just your blog for any news or updates from home, but probably there aren't. Right now, i'm writing from my bed in my own appartment, it's amazing and superchill. Hope to hear from you about your last update! Kiss
re: Antigua, GuatemalaJulie Love, love, loved reading all about your trip! was off-line for about two weeks so I'm just catching up now (I was insanely busy at work and the new puppy is monopolizing my time at home too). Can't wait to hear first hand about your adventures (good and bad). Loved the photos too. Very envious of your experience. Very proud too. :o) Welcome home!
re: Antigua, GuatemalaMom Welcome back Mike. Jim and I enjoyed reading your blogs. See you soon. Hugs!!
re: Antigua, GuatemalaNina Sounds like that girl didnt get it on for a long time ahahah... she needs some stress reliever ahahah... When she was shaking from adrenaline, you should've said something sarcastic, just to send her on her way ahahahah :)
re: Panajachel, GuatemalaMike Thanks Michaud.. yes that is a Mike original :) And Sonia... "it's never too late" isn't just a cliche.

re: San Cristobal de las Casas, MexicoMom You know what? your best blogs are your touchy feely blogs...so no worry about boring anyone. We'll all lovin' it. It's also really interesting to more about the Mayan people - that's what I love the most about travelling. The exotic sites and sounds are great but getting to know the people and their culture is what it's all about.
re: San Cristobal de las Casas, MexicoMike Thanks for the encouragement Jim! I fix a few mistakes after reading ur post so it should read even better now. I do feel like a hypocrite writing these blogs sometimes because it's easy to say.. but not so easy live in the way I describe. Maybe once I do, then I will be able to say that I found myself?
re: San Cristobal de las Casas, MexicoJim Mike - I'm impressed with your maturity and insight and your ability to communicate it in writing so effectively. Keep traveling Mike, it's good for you but your Mom says come home soon we miss you!
re: San Cristobal de las Casas, MexicoMike yes I know. It just says [link] at the moment because I want people to know that there I a video that will be posted there as soon as YouTube let's me upload it. Been having problems with it all day... but it's coming ;)
re: San Cristobal de las Casas, MexicoAndrea Hey, just wanted to let you know your video link didn't work!
re: San Cristobal de las Casas, MexicoDenise Jeej, a new blog. And how interesting! I had a discussion this week with the teacher about this 21-12-2012 and I rememberd something about that I wasn't about something ending, but something new begins. Now I know that you were the one telling that story :) Really interesting! Have fun! x
re: Palenque, MexicoMom Hi Mike - I thought you'd like to know it's pouring rain, near freezing, snow for tomorrow...overall, really crappy weather. Appreciate the sun and the heat while it lasts :)
