Oh my flipping god, am sure av just been bitten by a fly the size of an elephant.....

We arrived at Cape Tribulation this avo and are staying in a tree house. Decided we both hate beasties somaybe the rain forest is not the place for us.

No she isn't being over dramatic... It is like Centre Parcs on Acid! The heat is unbelievable... sauna - the humidity is ridiculous - all you can hear is things skawking and creeking... It is pitch black and there are no street lights we have a torch... We would do well on detox as the sweat is pounding out of us... Came out for a meal and we are heading for cover in our tree house... miles away... and every track looks like the last one so hopefully we will get home...

We will update the photos if we decide to go out again- if not - goodbye - nice knowing you all..

On the way to respray our mossy spray and hope we have electric... save the rainforest and all that jazz..

Our tree house is surrounded by mesh... but oh my god... I think it could be a long night and its only 8pm!
