Where do we begin!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

After last nights entry we made our way back in the dark to our tree house... approx 3 miles through dense rainforest... The noises swaking away!!!

We were hating every moment of it and decided early bed was the only option to get through the night. Just as we were settling down Wendy pulled a big black bug from under her pillow! That was it - lights on - sprays out and flip flop s flapping . .. The noise of the rainforest at night was unbelievable... Our tree house was very nice but our minds were made up... Every half hour bed checks were carried out routinely and bugs got a blasting... we were not enticed by the exotic fruit breakfast so Stuart spoke to the people and we got out of there shortly after 8am!!! NEVER AND I MEAN NEVER AGAIN! and we missed the Mardi Gras for that!

So we are now settled in Cairns in a lovely apartment that is secure and bug free - no noises, air con, electric and a swimming pool!

We are happy bunnies now - the weather is so hot it is unbelievable - 37oc at 3pm unreal!
