The sailing trip was amazing! We were on a small boat with 16 people and 4 other crew members. We set off from the mariner at around 4pm and went to the first port of call which was a small bay near Whitsunday island. We had our dinner there which was steak, pasta and salad. The cook called Ben who was only 18 was an amazing cook and he has a sweet tattoo that I wanna get. Then that night we played drinking games with the crew and learned some new ones! The crew were all amazing, there was Ben the cook, Tim the skipper, Simon the dive instructor and Wazza the dishwasher and general hand. The second day we all woke up with hangovers and went to Tongue bay where we went to a lookout point and say Whitehaven beach, the weather wasnt too good so I didn't get any pictures of the whole trip.
Then we chilled on the beach for a few hours we had to wear stinger suits if we wanted to go in the water as it is stinger season and noone wants to get killed! Then we set off after having lunch we got to another bay on Hook island and then we did some snorkeling and swam with elvis the Maori Wrasse
Then the next day we could do a free scuba dive so we did, it was cool as we only went to 12 metres but we got to see loads of fish, some some huge batfish and queensangels and some huge wrasse aswell as Elvis. Then we could do a bit of snorkeling. And on the first night a wolf herring jumped aboard and we killed it and on the last day we fed it to Elvis and he gobled it up in a 2 bites!!!
Then, sadly we set sail back for home... and we got in at around 1pm. A part of our cruise aswell we got a party thrown for us and all the other boats and we got free jugs of beer and discount on food so we all went out to a bar that night which was really cool.
The two irish's were on our boat they were the guys that were on the fraser island jeep thing which was sweet as.
Love you all
