Well well well!!!

I just got back from the cruise and... it was awesome. I'll try and remember everything...
First of all we set off from a port and got on our ship, it was me, Jason and Chris and then one other guy called Chris and 6 girls, Zakia, Sophie, gill, Corrinder, Michelle and Marlin.

We set off for our first island in a group called the Yasawas, the island is called manta ray, we went snorkeling i've never seen so many fish in the same place, I found a dog faced pufer fish, a moray eel, clown fish, wrasse, chromis, blue starfish, clams, oysters, triggers, picasso trigger, brown triggers. and then so many corals some bigger than me!
We stayed on the resort and had a BBQ on the boat, that night it was warm so we all slept on the deck on the boat, it started to rain a little so we moved back inside in the middle of the night, the boat was super cramped and it was baking in there but the crew were really cool, Paul the skivvy, Tui the captain, Eva the cook, and Luki the fisherman.
When I woke up the next day I was greeted by a freekin shark on the deck! Luki had been spear fishing for his dinner when 3 black tip sharks tried to eat his fish so he killed one and dragged it onto the boat and speared it - he's my hero.

The second day we cruised to another island Waya island where Luki was born, we went to the island and had a traditional kava cermony (fijian drink, it makes your tongue go numb, then your head and then your body) then we went for a hike to the school on the island and played footy with some of the local children they were cool kids, then we did a bit of snorkeling and had A BBQ on the beach with some other people. We drank kava with Luki and his friends on the beach all night that was really cool, he was telling us stories of his shark encounters. then we slept on deck again it was better this time, Jason got really badly sunburnt and started to blister so he was in a lot of pain it was pretty gross. Fool.
For the last day we went Beachcomber island which is a party island it was tiny you could swim around it in 15mins. So I did that was quite nice, we dropped off some girls and carried on back to the port.
Corinder and Chris went off to another island, we are meeting chris in Auckland on saturday night which is cool, also Zakia who is a french lady is realy nice, she is like mum to us all as she was the oldest, she is on the same flight to auckland which is a weird coincidence.
So me, Jason, Toppy and Zakia went to another island for two days called Robinson Crusoe, we were welcomed to island by the peole singing, the island is tiny and is just a resort, we did night fishing (didnt catch anything) we watched traditional dancing, knife dancing, fire dancing and war dancing, we ate alot of food and swam alot, i kayaaked the whole island a few times. I also got a polynesion massage on the beach under a coconut tree, you get afree 15min massage as part of the welcome pack.

We stayed there for 3days and 2 nights it was wicked cool and then we came home today, we went quickly into town to do some last minute shopping, I bought loads of kava and the traditonal bowl. So we can have a kava ceremony when we get back home! Aslong as I don't get arrested for having kava!!



Anyway thats about it, we did loads of other stuff but i cant remeber most of it! All I have to say is that Fiji is awesome, the peole are nice, the food is nice and the kava is nicer!!!
I will definatly becoming back.
So we leave for auckland tomorrow, we chanegd our ticket so we would have more time in New Zealand.

When we get to New Zealand we are going for a drink with Chris in auckland on saturday night and so we can get an idea of what there is to do in new zealand....
