Ok after the night from hell, we managed to get the last two beds from the bunk hostel which is an excellent place. I also managed to phone my little brother who was playing a gig at the waterfront hall in Belfast in front of 3000 just before he went on for a bit of support (wish I could have been there kid). Ok bad Karma day. We arrived here hoping to get to nimbin for a few days only to find we had missed the only bus, We then decided to stay in Byron although it is seriously full of d##Ks (sorry mum) only to find that the only accomodation left is 35 dollars each a night for a dorm, We then decided to get the night bus to Brisbane and went to the beach getting burnt. Blue mountains is about 2 hours outside of Sydney and an absolute must. Its a mountain range with a lot going on. They have the steepest train in the world, a cabel car and a sky train not to mention the outstanding beauty of the place.We had an amazing time here and got some cracking photos, its also a bit colder due to the altitude and so was a nice change to the heat in the cities. Arrived here on sat afternoon to the oldest city in Australia, we were met by our friend ross form uni, who had a amazing flat on bondi beach where we stayed while we were here. Arrived in Canberra the capital of Australia, its in a separate territory called Australias capital territory funny enough. Canberra gets a bad name for not being Australian at all (not necessarly a bad thing), but we love it after all the big cities its nice to see a capital city which is very green and almost rural, its very friendly and not a tourist hotspot (Yet).
