Hi Brian & Shirley,
Thanks for the heads-up -- I think I've got a lot of catching-up to do when I get home.
Thanks also for all your very kind comments. They are and have been much appreciated.
See you soon - weather permitting?

Hi Steve,
Your blog gets more and more enthralling the further you go.
Two points of 'home' information.
1) We had an inch or so of snow last night (Saturday) but don't expect more before the end of the week. The temperatures currently range between -4 and +4 C and are not expected to rise so wrap up warm for your return!
2) There is an estate agent's board (Bourne) at the entrance to the Close.
Don't panic! We are not selling off your flat in your absence - Les & Cathy are selling theirs.
Look forward to seeing you return, but we sure will miss your blog which has lightened our winter.
Good luck and see you soon

Hi Clare,
I definitely want to catch up when I get back. I've caught Facebook-glimpses, but it sounds like you have some news. Mid February is a date!:-)
See you soon,

Hi Steve,
I am still keeping up with your wonderful adventures and your fantastic blogs which really sum up the personal elements for you. A cracking insight into some areas I never really had thought about. I can't believe you're 3 weeks off now, it seems only a few weeks ago that you were setting off on your cross America trip!!!
Hope to catch up with you mid February time.
Lots of love
Clare and nick (& Isabelle too) x xx

Thanks for the suggestion Chris - I'll look it up.

Hi Steve,
If you fancy ending your trip with a bit of a blowout I highly recommend dining at 'Dum Pukht' in the ITC Maurya hotel - the slow cooked lamb is spectacular. The same hotel has perhaps the most famous and rated Indian restaurant (Bukhara) but I didn't enjoy it as much. It won't be cheap but it will be goooooood!
Top tip:
You might want to keep your sleep mask from the plane for the taxi ride to your hotel, Delhi traffic is quite something and your screams might distract the driver.
