Hola Seems the last postcard I sent got lost en route. Bloody cyber mail, it's worse than the south american mail service!!At the risk of repeating myself we are in Chile. Though somewhat north of the postcard image which is Torres del Paine national park. We are in the driest place in the world (look it up) the Attacama desert where according to my guidebook it never rains! ever! much like Manchester in that respect. Left Peru with aching feet and a sence of satisfaction after completeing our trek to Machu Picchu. Border crossing passed with incident although the fact Steve looks like a Mexican Terrorist on his passport photo always causes a slight delay. Travelling down to the Elqui Valley today. Planning to visit an observatory and the vinyards so could be quite pissed looking through a huge telescope by tomorrow!! Oh and Boro finished 7th and so are in Europe-again, hurrah, just for those who didn't know (or care) Anne x
