Hi Steve, you are very slow at updating your postcard section, we are all waiting to hear what is your impression of Oz. It is my last working day in Madrid today, back home tomorrow. A bit sad really I have really enjoyed this past year here, although the weekends are wearing a bit thin now having been around all the 'must sees' several times. I have a mesage from your Mum, she says that your cheque hasn't arrived yet from the insurance company, I assume that it is for your lost camera. Must go now and clear out the things in my desk that I want to take home with me.

Hope you're doing okay. Really starting to miss you now. It was nice having you around for the christmas period. Gran is staying with us at the moment. Thanks for the message on the boad buddy. Looking forward to meeting up with you again mate. Dont have too much for ya too take back (apart from my leather jacket I had taylored in Hoi ani (if that is ok mate)) I know carla posted a note to let you know we sent it all back via the iron birds flying out off saigon. Glad to hear you are having a ball, you must of aged by now, with all the parting you are doing. Hope dan is ok please pass my reagrds on to him for me and carla. Dear all. It's been ages since I wrote to you on my mesage board and you have sent me so many lovely messages too. Shame on me. I'm in Koh Samui at the moment enjoying the sunshine (and the rain), even if the people are a bit grotty! The shopping is great and I have bought some Playstation games for about 2 pounds each, which given that they are about 40 pounds back home is a bargain. I wish I could buy more stuff, but it's carrying it all that's the problem. I'm off to Koh Phangan tomorrow morning to get ready for the Full Moon Party on 26th Nov. Then it's 2 days to recover before flying back to Bangkok for 2 days and then back home on 1st December. Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible while I'm home, so clear your diaries because I want priority! Keep the messages coming as I haven't stopped reading them. Miss you all loads. Hallo you. Glad to hear you are safe and sound and still having a good time. It was lovely to see you in Vientiane. Although it was an expensive meeting as on your recommendation we went to the tailors in Hoi An. It cost $500 to purchase and $220 to airmail home. We are most definately not eating in French restaurants for a while!! Saying that, however, we did spend a few notes in Nha Trang sailing club (couldnt help it - food was lovely and happy hour lasted so long!). We are in HCMC at the mo which is nice but i actually prefer Hanoi (must be the first place you go that sticks with you). Off to Cambodia on Sunday. Looking forwqard to catching up again in Bangkok. Finally got round to saying thanks for the postcards. It looks great, brings back a few memories from an age long-ago (more than I care to remember).
