Ben and I caught the bus to Hoi An and when we got there we met up with Anastasia and Alana who we'd met on the booze cruise and went to a really nice hotel - some of the best value for money accommodation I've ever had. For $8 each we had and awesome room, free decent breakfast, there was a massive pool and it was a really nice hotel! Hoi An is the home of cheap tailoring in Vietnam - so over the course of my time there I had a suit tailored, a winter coat made and a hoodie made! So in between shopping and fittings we wandered around Hoi an, ate a lot of awesome food, drank a little and laughed a hell of a lot!

We hired bicycles one day and cycled around the town and across the river - it was a really nice way to have a look around the town! That night we were joined by Walt who we'd also met on the boat trip and we decided to take a cooking course which was really interesting - it was in a moderately shabby restaurant and we were learning in a very basic kitchen but it was enjoyable nonetheless and obviously we got to eat what we cooked!

We spent 3 days in Hoi An and it was just really chilled out and a lot of fun. From there the 5 of us decided we would visit Ninh Binh!
