Stayed in a tradtiona ger camp today. This must reall be the highlight of the trip soon. In the middle of nowhere, we stayed in these gers. It had four beds per ger, a stove thing to keep the room warm and a table.
We visited a huge rock and climed it in the shape of a turtle and then trekked back in the snow for an hour back to the camp. We met another 'vodka train' group also staying a the camp. There was a huge camp fire and we drank under the free\zing cold starts. It was so clod that my coke in the bottle froze!! We had to defrost it by the fire. We moved into someones tent and got hammered. The donkey song was out and we all had to ride our imaginary donkeys!!
Kev and I returned to our camp late in the night and for some reason decided to run outside in our boxers. It was too cold so we returned to get just one thing!!!Yep, thats right...a pair of shoes!!!So we could run even further in our boxers. Forget layers of clothing!
We found some left over dumpling food in our room from early and cooked them on our fire.
The next morning I went Horse riding in -15 degrees. Was good fun apart from the bruises on my behind. My horse didnt want to listen to my commands. I told him to run, but the lazy git trots along. However, I found the method. If you kick it with your foot near its bum, then it runs quite fast!!!!
