First of all...I have just spent 1hour writing an entry for you all to read and literally just as i was about to send it there was a power cut! Aghhh! so im going to do it bit by bit this time. Right so... after I last spoke to you all I overheard a girl talking on the phone at our hotel in Bangkok and it sounded as if she was a northerer and so I asked where she was from and it turns out that she's from Manchester. Her name is Michelle and shes 28. Really nice and more like 20 than 28. She was going up to ChangMai with a guy she had met on her flight. James,19 from south Wales. We were on the same train and whilst on there met Austin, 24 from Austin,Texas. Alan 26 from Essex and Elisa who is the nicest German i have ever met. We have stayed together and all booked our 3 day Jungle treck together. We treked 30km over the time and stayed at a hill tribe and a beautiful waterfall for the nights. The beds were so bad, just wooden planks really but it was all part of the experience.We didn't get long on the Elephants but it was really uncomphy and they looked like they couldn't be arsed to be honest but still a wonderful experience. we sailed down the rivers on bamboo rafts whilst having a constant water fight and also jumped of a massive waterfall....it was great! Tomorrow we are all of to Laos. Its the country above Thailand and is supposed to be great. Im glad i have met some nice people and we get on really well. I will report on Laos when i get back to A.T.Ms and phones. Laos is somewhat behind. Hope everyone is O.K. Lots of Love.xxxx
