G'day!!

Just a quick one...we have finally arrived in Adelaide, staying with lovely Hazel and Jim. Great to be here!

The Indian Pacific rail journey was not short it has to be said!! We left Perth Wednesday lunchtime to arrive in middle of nowhere Kalgoorlie late that night. We spent 3 nights there in the Golddust hostel checking out the cowboy-esque gold rush town with its HUGE mines, brothels and "skimpy" bars. (photos to follow).

We then got the train about 1 am Wednesday night and apart from a brief stop in even-more middle of nowhere Cook, didn't stop until Friday morning when we pulled into Adelaide!!
