We are so glad to be in Oz! People really do say "G'day", "no worries" and call everyone mate (or matey) I love it! We have been staying with my godparents Myra and Tony and have been truly spoilt, roast dinners and the like. We are right by the ocean and the weather is sunny but not humid like it has been in SE Asia. We went to Perth Mint and saw a gold pour, we have been to the museum, and the beautiful Kings Park. For Stephens birthday we had blamonge and cake!  Perth is so far away from anywhere else (the most remote capital city in the world) but it seems a great city, lots to do on this side of Australia so we may stay a while before heading east. We have 3 months and the pressure is on to fit everything in, no more lazing by pools we have got a continent to explore!
