Not as much to say about Shanghai. We only got to spend two days there. After the overnight train was washed off in the showers, we went for an orientation tour with Lacey. About 200m from the hotel Anna managed to get knocked over by an old lady on a motorbike. More damage to pride than either party - but these bikes do come out of nowher…

I have concluded that they need to put those funky escalators in more areas of China - FAR too many steps! Hope the climbing and descending thereof had beneficial effects on your leg muscles...
Good to know you're still only a month behind yourselves ; )
Liz Curling
Your mum passed on your blog site. Looks a fantastic trip. Hear you have found out what 43 temperature feels like! Bit like a hair drier on hot!
All the best from all of us.

Hiya, hope you're both still having a fab time. Whereabouts are you - has any of the weather in Victoria affected you? We got your postcard, I'm impressed with how much info you could fit on in your tiny handwriting Stephen! The main news from CISHE is our office move, I'll save that for another time although I'm sure you'll be desparate to find out, oh yes it's exciting stuff (!)
Anyway bye for now, see you in a couple of months!
Kate
I hear the weather is finally cooling down a bit in Oz, which I'm sure you'll be grateful for. It's doing the same here - a good 4 or 5 inches of snow today! Will post photos on Facebook later this week. Travel chaos, of course. Dad's flight was cancelled last night, but he's gone this morning. All fun and games...
Andrew It`s like someone drained Ha Long Bay.
