Thursday 9th August An early wake up and a hike to the bus station where we were on time yet the bus was late. We both fell asleep on route to the Cameron Highlands. I read that the buses in Malaysia like the AC on cold, cold doesn't describe it. I felt like I had been locked in a freezer! Luckily I had my jumper and wrapped myself up! Tuesday 7th August We woke up late and checked out for 12, we had an hour wait before our taxi pick up which was naturally late! We arrived at the pier where we quickly grabbed some lunch before boarding the boat which was on time leaving at 2:30pm! It was a three hour ride to Penang; luckily the water was calm today! Saturday 4th August We woke up nice an early to get in a mini van, to take us 10 seconds down the road to another mini van, this seemed pointless! We drove for two hours, just the two of us to a stopping off point where we had to wait for two hours for another minivan. We chilled in the tour office and played with the dog they had. We got back in a now full minivan, the same minivan as before, with the same driver…! We drove for another two hours to another...

Friday 3rd August We woke up early to do one final site seeing, the view point. It was a long 40 minute walk to the top of the highest point, but we got a fantastic view of the island. The part connecting the two high points is incredibly small; no wonder most businesses here got wiped out in the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami.
