AMSTERDAM,, AMSTERDAM !!!! IAM IN AMSTERDAM
hahahah its more than what i expected. Its a city is not only beautiful, have amazing architecture and great looking people, its has weed and magic mushrooms and their legal! Yes legal you can go into a çoffeé shop and order your spliff and juice. What flavour you say? Cheese, Haze, White willow and many more. These are types of weed im talking about, and yes they do have a menu... ahhahah crazy.
We arrived at about 5pm checked in and headed for town. It normally takes about 45min to walk to town bout we got lost with all the water canals and it took us an hour and a half. We stumbled across the red light district. wow total shock. There are girls and trannies standing in boxes (like window shops) in nearly nothing waiting to be brought for half an hr (50 euro for half an hr).. wow so not cool. Puts a new meaning to window shoping.
The whole city it so cool,The streets follow an arc around the city created by water canals (not the nicest water but still pritty). the houses line the streets and are so tall and thin, wedged next to each other. The all seem to tilt forward and appear to be falling over, apperently they are built this way as their used to be a pully systems out the from of the houses used to leaver the wheat bags to the atic. Im not suer if i believe this, because it looks like the soil they built on was muddy and had poor footings. hahah listen to me .. architect jibba jabba .. ahahah.oh and not to menation the push bikes, everyones transport is a bike. bike hear bike there ,,, wowo nearly get hit by a bike. its crazy. Eveytime you cross the road you need to look both ways three times to make sure. They come for all direction. zoooooommm ahhhhhh. i dont think im game enough to get on one..dont know the rules .. well it seems they dont even have any.
Anyway, we adventually found the coffee shop where had our first splif in Amsterdam. We had to get someone dodgy local to roll out trumpet. One small puff and elyse was gone, hahaha hahha classic start to amsterdam..... half finished the spliff and went to get some fresh air. We mosed around the streets and two people ask us if we were ok.. (were we really that stoned?) we had a feed and made it back to our hostel and totally zonked.
Day two.. hahah the day of the adventure... We met this guy on busabout Josh (soon to become father duck). We started the day with a spilf at smokies coffee shop and went on the adventure to find shrooms. ... Im not sure that everyone will aprove of this adventure howver its amsterdam and you have to try everything once. and another point is that its getting phased out so we have to make the most of it.
We followed Josh around town, he had been there 3 times before so had the jist of the place. We walked into twon , the correct way and saw pink flamingos, fluro pick! they were amazing. Once in town we found Rembrant square, this is where there are sculptures replicating the well known Rembrant painting ´the night watchmen´. We discovered markets where we fonud some awsome stuff, were goign to head back there tomorrow to get a few things. Maybe a braclet or something small.
After our walk we were thirsty so settled down at smokies to enjoy a spliff and the tastest tropical juice ive ever tasted. We smoked and ate some untasty shrooms `Mexican anmd Comlubian magic mushroom'. and set off once again.
Talk about a day colourfull day, of laughter and confusion about where we were. We followed josh around town like baby ducks (hense the name father duck), from spot to spot with the occasional stop to find out where we where. Not to sure how he put up with us but he sad he had a great day. And so did we. After 5hrs of illuminated colours and hypened sensors we arrived back at the hostels and chilled. What a day .....
Day 4-Well we have been so lucky with the wether so far but today its was raining and freezing.. not freezing but 12 Degrees. My decision to leave my scarf and beni in London seemed not such a good idea. But i made gloves out of a pair of socks and continue on the day. We went on a 4hr bike tour out of the city, visited a cheese and clog making shop and other little danish things like the windmill. It was cold and wet but with our two layers of wet weather gear and a spunky tour guide we were happy. A great day again in Amsterdam tomorrow we will chill in the sun and have a few bevies on top of the science museum. Then off To Berlin...
