Nice journal entry on Goteborg! Be safe and have fun. Did you know that Goteborg is the seaport where your Great Grandpa, Axel, and Great Grandma, Ellen, boarded ships to begin their journey to America? That was over 100 years ago. Have fun at the museums and wherever you go. Send me a postcard!

Hi Sara,
It sure looks like you are having the time of your life! What a fabulous experience. ANd your friends look like they're having a great time too.
We are finally getting a snowstorm, and from what I can tell we may have more than you!
Take care.
Kari
Yonson, you got to go curling!? FUN! I wish I could have see you. I'm sure it was a hoot. Anyways, I just received your postcard, which really made my day! It sounds like you're having a blast over there traveling and experiencing all sorts of new things. I can't wait to hear more about them! Muah! Miss you bunches.
Gunn
Hi Sara,
Looks like you are still having a blast. Your photos are beautiful. I especially like the ones with all the big fluffy snow flakes. Curling looks like fun, but I thought all the cute guys play Bandy!
What music are Swedish people your age listening to?
Enjoy the weekend. We are supposed to get 15 inches of snow this weekend so we'll be running around in the snow like you. You look really good!
Please post a little note in Swedish. Love, Gunn
John
is curling harder than hockey? don't you skate? sounds like you had a blast! how many times did you fall? lol

great you've updated your journal! so how do you think you did on your paper? what words have you learned in swedish? wouldn't it be cool if you and your dad just randomly conversed in swedish?! you can't keep your tone americanized the entire time you're there if you really want to learn the language, or any languages for that matter. you speak good in spanish so i think you'll do good in swedish. besides, didn't you take a phonics(?) class back in the states? you could definitely use that now in learning swedish. where else do you plan on traveling? if you can, travel to spain. its GORGEOUS!!! (run with the bulls!). perhaps rome and visit the colleseum where they had gladiators and what not! being there is like walking through a timeline. it's amazing.
ps. sorry for asking so many questions and making this long
Mom
Glad to hear you did not break any bones while curling!!! but had fun.... can't wait to see the video!!
