Sleeping last night worked well despite the cramped conditions. We woke up early and had a relax before heading out for breakfast. This was accompanied by the first argument of the day between the girls as they both wanted to be batman.
As the folk festival was on, the town was buzzing. We had a nice breakfast at a café and then walked through the town looking at the predictable range of market stalls selling shoes, sunnies and bird whistles. By the time we were ready to leave the town it was 11:30. We had found little in the way of tourist information so decided to drive directly to Robe. We stopped briefly at Nelson for lunch so the girls could play as both are pretty testing today.
After an hours play we drove onto Robe arriving around 4:30. The owners JJ and Alex seem really nice and the cottage is really sweet and quirky. We headed out to the beach so the girls could have a play which they enjoyed until I phoned Mum and then it all went a little wrong. While we were playing on the beach a bridal party came out of the bowling club to have their photos taken. There was also another small girl on the beach who came and started to take the girls beach toys, not normally a problem but as they were tired I could have done without it and the father saying there was another toy to Elizabeth.
Elizabeth and I are back at the cottage while Alex and David have gone out to fetch fish and chips.
