Both children awake far far too early and given that we thought we had a trip this afternoon we decided to have a lazy morning. The girls watched Madagascar and I wrote the diary, David slept. We then swapped so I slept and David watched TV with the children.
At around 11 we left the motel and walked to Flagstaff park to let the girls play. The weather was hot and very windy, bits were falling out of trees, just not nice. We then walked back to the hotel for lunch after which the girls sat and coloured in while we killed time until the trip pick up. We got down in time and I carefully checked the voucher.
Time - 2:25 pickup 2:30 - that works
Date - 4th March yep, that works, oh hang on we are on the 3rd !
So we walked to the aquarium and Elizabeth slept. Elizabeth continued to sleep through Alex going nutty over the penguins and loved them. We then moved through the aquarium and Alex just loves the fish even the yukky spider crabs and jelly fish. Elizabeth woke at the end so David took her round on a whistle top tour. It was well done but as is typical for an aquarium they are expensive for the length of time you are there.
After a very successful visit there we walked back along the southbank of the river and had dinner in a food court there. Strange to have the birds flying through.
