Hey everyone

Posting this message from Darwin - finally got out of Broome and made it to the top of Oz!! Didn't get any work in Broome - part us being lazy and part not liking Broome as much as we thought we would. So we got a relocation jeep (paid $1 a day instead of the normal $250 coz they wanted the vehicle back in Darwin from Broome), and hit the road, doing more bush camps and campfire cooking and murdering flies and got to Darwin yesterday. In true style we hit the town immediately and rolled in at 5am this morning. Unfortunately for Emma, she got all the drunken I love you and miss you text messages!! Cheers Em!

Hot up here - the hostel has got 2 outdoor jacuzzi's but no pool so thinking maybe we'll move across the road where they've got 2 pools - although that might hinder the job hunting process!

Thanks for the messages and phone call Angie - tried to call back but seem to be having trouble ringing from the mobile - will call soon though!!

Just want to say congrats to Elaine & Jonathan who have just had a baby girl, Grace May, and also to Ga's sister who's just had a baby girl too called Ellie. Whilst talking babies, hello to cutie Maggie Bump!!

We've had a request (from someone who shall remain nameless!) for more bum shots - of Ga not me, so a few have been taken and they will be on the website soon. Sorry Mum but Ga got bored of doing nice shots for your photo frames!

Matt - if you read this, we took a little visit to Fanny Bay yesterday - heard you had a pretty interesting time there!! Hope it wasn't anything to do with all the Aboriginies that hang round there!

Great to hear you had a great Birthday, trust Ga to be hungover. He doesn't take after his Mother in that department. Some news, England got their arses kicked at the football last night, however the cricket is going ok today. Hope to hear from you both soon.

OK I found it again! How weird....Here is my original message. "Hello you two! Sorry it's been so long since I wrote (Robin has a cheek appending my name to that last rude message...) but have been really busy at work. Alison - did you get ice cream cake and sparklers for your birthday? And if not, Gavin, why not???? It was really strange here after you left....kind of quiet somehow....plus we had no-one to eat leftovers (not counting Sally). Naomi has finally decided what to do at uni. Bachelor of Science so she can work at the Zoo. Seems like a lot of study just to shovel poo, I say. Claire is possibly doing a double degree : nursing/midwifery, which will take four years. Ye gads, they'll still be at home when I'm old and grey. (Hold on, I'm already old and grey. Older and greyer, then.) Catherine still wants to direct movies, but has been told by those in the know that she can't unless she acts first. That's not an option. She's just bossy really. I'm sure there are other things she can do to boss people about. Winding down (up?) to the big exams. I'll be glad when this year is over. Funny how people think you look like the girls? or the girls look like you? At least they don't look like Gavin, which would be a worry. Anyway, really must go have WORK to do. Love to you both. We had a big storm last night and lots of rain and it's miserable today although not cold. The Bazza Bowser is almost empty so will be filling it up tonight. Tried your mobile but no answer. Hey everyone

Thanks for all the birthday messages, celebrated bit differently this year! Thought we'd go out last night and celebrate my last night of being 25 (plus another girl was leaving today so her party too!). Anyways Ga is now hungover in bed - too bad coz we're going down the beach, having a swim and surf and then having more beers whether he likes it or not!! No longer his toygirl hey!

We've got an australian mobile number now - not sure what the code for Oz is though but then it's 0406266813.
We can text but have used our international minutes up already just by speaking for 10 minutes to each set of parents.

I have text a few people already but not sure if everyone is getting them - Em, Nick & Sarah??

Anyway I'm off to cook our brekkie now - I know shouldn't be doing it on my birthday but don't think Ga would survive in the kitchen with his hangover.
